I'm a born and raised New Yorker, and now call Bradenton, Florida home. My maiden name is Billow, hence Billoware - it suits the jewelry perfectly, as my work is super lightweight. I design and realize every piece in my brand new studio. Primarily self-taught, I was inspired many years ago while crocheting a wool scarf; I envisioned and interpreted this traditional and time-honored technique into a new medium – pure silver. I actually thought I had invented the technique. I didn't, but I did stumble onto it organically. Over the years of designing and creating Billoware, I have developed a loved and loyal following. Experimentation, designing and creating have led me to the unique pieces I produce today. While labor intensive, it’s evident that I thrive in this creative outlet. I believe that jewelry should be fun, meant to be enjoyed by the wearer and admired by others.
